The whole concept of a baby growing inside of mommy is a little foreign for big brother. But as my tummy had tripled in size Shiloh has found it a little fascinating. For the first time he touched my tummy and said "Baby Sister." He then told me that he was going to play choo-choo train with her! I think he will make a wonderful big brother.
I have to share a tug-my-heart story. I was laying on the couch and put my hand on the floor where Shiloh was sitting and pretty soon a little soft hand gently slides into my hand and then leaves it there for 5 minutes!! Talk about making my heart do flip-flops! He's is so sweet. I think he has picked this one up from Dad and Mom time!!

Today we took Shiloh, Nana, and Papa to a little train station where Shiloh could ride a little train! We had a great time and Shiloh loved seeing the Choo-Choo train. They had a great model train town with Thomas the tank engine!! Shiloh would run from window to window trying to catch the train.

Ultrasound
On Wednesday we found out that we are expecting a baby Girl!!! I'm so excited. I was hoping for a girl, but I knew a boy would be just great!
The other day my sister asked Shiloh if he wanted a brother or sister and he replied, "sisser." So I guess he's getting what he wanted!
Baby Girl Homsher, such a little miracle. We watched as she would caress her face with her hand and move her little legs. So amazing to see!!

A Back Lesson
Last Thursday, I threw out my back in about 4 different places and it was a little painful at times. Thankfully we were able to get into a chiropractor the next day because I was walking like a hunchback!! I looked pretty funny. After the doctor fixed me I felt as if I had been ran over by a truck--a big one! Places that didn't hurt before, hurt now! But it was for the best, I appreciated the chiropractor telling me that he helps put the back into place but God has designed our bodies to heal themselves. I really appreciated what he said..The chiropractor helps the spine along but God has done the rest..creating the body to heal itself. I am amazed at how God has created the body, that if one part isn't working right, the other parts of the body help and try to heal it...that's why I was walking like a hunchback because my other muscles were taking over where the hurt ones couldn't do it anymore. I'm reminded of the verses in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness...for when I am weak, then I am strong.
A lot of times in my walk with God, I get out of place in several areas..I sin, I get selfish, I turn my eyes off of God and onto worries...and then I can't walk straight anymore. I know that I have sinned and so I cry to God for help. (I John 1:9--If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.) And my Faithful God lovingly and carefully puts me back into place. And it's not always easy, sometimes it hurts all over because I have to let go of those sins that I have become comfortable with. But after having our relationship restored, God begins to strengthen our relationship. And I am very thankful that He has to make me weak in me sin, to strengthen me in Him.
Yesterday our friends, Chung Howe and Dency came over and made Shiloh and I lunch!! They are so sweet. Their thoughtfulness and love was very encouraging. They fixed fried rice!! Yummy, yummy!
Well, after another doctor's appointment yesterday, he said my back was healing and he popped me in a couple more places. So now I can stand longer that 5 minutes!! Yeah!
Chung Howe made these boxes into fun toys...the big one is Shiloh's train as he tells us.

Happy Birthday to my Guys!!!
Shiloh's 2 years old, and Landry's.... a few years older! I love these guys so much!! And we have so much fun together learning as a family and growing in love toward each other. Landry is such a wonderful, Godly leader for Shiloh and I and he has such a tender heart towards God's leading.
Shiloh is talking and talking and talking!! His favorite song is "Deep and Wide" and he'll be in the middle of playing with his toys and he will break into song. His favorite pass time is eating! And he loves "choo trains". He is such a joy and he usually always has a smile on his face or has something he's got to tell us!
"Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, because His mercy endureth forever."
Psalm 118:1

Merry Christmas!!!
We had a relaxing Christmas yesterday. Shiloh enjoyed playing with his new toys and we enjoyed sleeping in!! We were able to Skype with my parents and with Landry's parents so they could see Shiloh open presents. It was so much fun to see Shiloh discover that there were toys underneath all that wrapping paper. He was very particular about opening each one and he took his own time!
Today we had the pleasure of traveling about 2 hours away to find some snow!! Shiloh was given a new coat, gloves, and hat so we had to put them to use. We had a blast throwing snowballs at each other and making a little snowman. The snowman actually almost made it home with us. Landry put him in between the windshield wipers and the windshield. But soon the Snowman started to melt and pieces started flying off! We had a wonderful time being together and seeing Shiloh enjoy himself! We are so blessed with such a wonderful family...God has been very good to us.
